At ATPA, transparency is a core value. We only collect data when necessary to ensure the well-being of our animals (adoptions) or the management of the association (donations, volunteering).
We formally commit to never selling, renting, or exchanging your personal information with commercial third parties.
What We Collect & Why
For Adoption
Identity, Contact info, Housing type, Household composition
Verify compatibility between the animal and your lifestyle to ensure a successful and lasting adoption.
For Donations & Sponsorships
Identity, Postal address, Banking details (via secure partners)
Issuing tax receipts (legal obligation) and managing payments (Teaming/HelloAsso).
For Volunteering
Identity, Availability, Skills, Liability Insurance
Organization of schedules and insurance coverage during your missions at the shelter.
Retention Period
We only keep your data for the necessary time:
- Adoptions: 5 years (legal liability)
- Tax receipts: 6 years (legal obligation)
- Inactive contacts: 3 years after the last exchange
Data Security
Our site and databases are hosted in France (OVH). Access to sensitive information is restricted to authorized bureau members and employees only.
